Multi- pair cable is a twisted pair of many pairs, at least 25 pairs. It is generally used for the voice backbone, each connected to a voice point.
Large logarithmic cables are generally three types, so they are not suitable for 10M/100M network bandwidth when used to transmit network data, so they are generally not used for data transmission.
There are also large logarithmic cables of Category 5 and Category 5e, which are no problem for 10M/100M networks, but only need to use 4 pairs of twisted pairs to connect a data point, and the length should not exceed 100m. Twisted pair wires are commonly used in category 3, category 5 and super category 5, and the latest category 6, the former has a thin wire diameter while the latter has a thick wire diameter.
